Centerline is a new quilt created for Denyse's exhibition at the National Quilt Museum. This design originated as part of the Mt. Lebanon Series. When developing the body of work, Denyse sketches many ideas for the hand-quilting that explored variation of traditional motifs in her own "hand", but in the end the quilting evolved in another direction. For this machine-quilted version of the design, Denyse has incorporated her early ideas, and love of the over sized scale of the rope or cable motif in juxtaposition with the minimal piecing. Machine-quilted by Angela Walters.
