Denyse and Josef Albers

Denyse was recently interviewed for a Yale University Press project in partnership with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Josef Albers’s masterwork, Yale Press is releasing a digital edition (for the iPad) of Interaction of Color, one of the most influential books about color ever written. This groundbreaking application taps into the full interactive potential of Albers’s teachings, and includes interviews with such art and design luminaries as Brice Marden, Peter Mendelsund, and Christopher Farr. Denyse is honored (and still stunned) to be a part of this exciting project, available later this month. View a trailer of the interviews here or on the New York Times T Magazine blog here.
