About Denyse
My career path – like my quilt designs – has been colorful, surprising, and sometimes slightly askew. But looking back, the threads were all there, right from the beginning.
My parents were skilled makers of practical things – in part a result of their having grown up during the Great Depression and a deep-rooted frugality. As kids we learned to make do, by making things by hand.
