Mae's Bouquet quilt pattern
Evocative of a sweet nosegay freshly picked from the garden, this minimalist variation of a Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern is a striking tribute to Denyse's own grandmother, an intuitive and passionate gardener.
Any of Denyse’s licensed fabric collections or patchwork panels will look great in this scrap-friendly pattern, or use fabrics from your stash to recreate the modern appeal of the all-solids version (pictured). Precut hexagons will save time! The Mae's Bouquet hexagons measure 4-3/4" diagonally from point to point, while the sides measure 2-1/2".
This pattern includes easy-to-follow instructions with diagrams, measurements, and full-size paper templates to make this quilt in crib/baby, twin, queen, or king size and pillow sham. The pattern instructs for Y-seams, but you can adapt for EPP (English Paper Piecing) if you prefer.
