Ideas were already percolating when the movie Poor Things by Yorgos Lanthimos was released, but seeing this color-soaked sci-fi flick made it all click! The saturated pallette really resonated, and I loved the feminist twist on the story. Pretty Things celebrates discovery and the simple joy found in all the pretty things around us.
