Snake Charmer
My rendition of a traditional "snake-in-the-grass" or "drunkard’s path" pattern looks great on the bed. Subtle shifts of color in the snakes impart an organic-modernist feel. An idea long on the drawing board, this pattern initially took shape when developed for my first how-to book, Denyse Schmidt Quilts (Chronicle, 2006).
This design can be made in any coloration. This design is also slated to be produced in India as part of the DS x SH Collection.
