Stonehouse Inn Quilts
In 2009 I created fifteen bespoke quilts for a small boutique hotel on the ocean in Little Compton, Rhode Island. The designs, informed by the architects’ elegant, modern renovation of the historic seaside estate, captured the texture and feeling of summers past with seersucker and shirting-stripe cottons; and reflected the modern sensibility with spare architectural designs and fabrics with subtle, silvery threads.
